You are now probably making necessary preparations for your oral presentation due in Week 6. As explained in class, you have to choose between these two options:
OPTION 1 - The Legend Speech
You are to choose either a famous person, group, movement, event etc. that relates to any field (business, politics, culture, music, performing arts, engineering, science, technology etc.) who has made an impact on his/ her/ their/ its respective field or even beyond that, and above all, who has influenced you, the speaker/ presenter.
The goal of this oral presentation, which you need to mention in your INTRODUCTION, is NOT so much to outline the life of this person, or the development of this group, movement or event, BUT rather to inform your audience how/ why this person, group, movement or event has influenced you.
In the BODY or CONTENT of your presentation, you then elaborate the key points or main ideas: THREE of the most significant contributions or changes that this person, group, movement or event has made.
Ultimately, in your CLOSING or CONCLUSION, you should end your 3-minute oral presentation by summarizing the key points or main ideas you have made earlier, perhaps by pointing out the importance of these significant contributions that this person, group, movement or event has made to his/ her/ their/ its respective field.
So now, as you search for some materials for your oral presentation, choose one that you think is the best material. Copy and paste the material in your blog. Be sure to cite the source properly. If the material is too long, you may create a hyperlink of the material.
Now, in your blog, based on what you have read about this famous person, group, movement or event, write your comments about how he/ she/ they/ it has influenced you. As agreed, your comments should be one or two paragraphs, min 100 words, max 250 words. (Due: Week 6)
OPTION 2 - Speech of introduction: Introducing YOURSELF
You are to introduce yourself to the rest of the class. Your goal is to inform your audience about yourself, focusing on what makes you, YOU. Thus, in your INTRODUCTION you need to make a stand, a personal statement about yourself, that defines YOU.
You then elaborate further on your personal stand statement by focusing on THREE most important aspects or parts of that personal stand statement of yours as your key points or main ideas in the BODY or CONTENT of your presentation.
Finally, in the CLOSING or CONCLUSION, end your 3-minute presentation by summarizing the THREE key points or main ideas you have just elaborated.
Now, in your blog, based on the personal stand statement you have chosen for your oral presentation, write your comments on why you have chosen it as your personal stand statement. Your comments should be one or two paragraphs, min 100 words, max 250 words. (Due: Week 6)
Good luck! Remember to prepare good, effective visuals and don't forget to think of an appropriate attention-getter. Make full use of appropriate non-verbal communication. Last but not least, practise and time your presentation - as the saying goes, Practice makes perfect.

My famous person that i have choose is Ibnu Sina or Abu Ali Al-Hussain Ibn Abdullah ibni Sina or also know at western as Avicenna.A long time ago, he famous in medicine.Even famous in medicine, he also has learn more than medicine like astronomic, logic, mathematical,physics,science,technology, and more until people called him as Father Of Science.He was birth around 980 M or 370 H at Bukhara and passe away around 1037 m or 428 H.His early study in language in Bukhara and then countinue with Al-Quran.He also famous o writting and also has created books likes Alqanun fi altibb,Kitab al-shifa' and Al najat.
He alsoo called as father of Medicine.Around 17 years old he had successful to save Putera Nab Ibn Al-sammani from disease that cannot be saved by other doctor.Start at that moment he was famous on medicine.He whose the first person that introduced the surgery and also the first person who introduced drug in medicine to prevent patient feel hurt.
Ibn sina is one the amazing person that i have be found.Because of his knowledge and brave to introduced the surgery and usage of drug can save many people around.
Actually everybody want people know they in many way.Sometimes, people chose to chance their personality, style and more to be popular.I other word to be someone else.Actually,they are not happy because of they must to be other people to be famous person.In my opinion famous with other people style right?And why must we proud with other people and not with myself?

Who I choose in my presentataion??? Of course all of you want to know it right??? He is a great leader in abbasid dynasty,Khalifah Harun Ar-Rasyid. His full name was Harun ibn Muhammad ibn Abdallah ibn Muhammad ibn Ali ibn Abdallah ibn Abbas. He was born in Rayy at 766 . His father's name is Muhammad Al-Fatih,the 3rd leader in abbasid dynasty and his mother is Jurasyiyah al-Khayzuran from Yaman. In young age,20 years old,he start to assended the throne. His life is no longer,only 46 years old at 24 March 809 in Tus or in modern day is Mahshad.
He become a leader in young age.He make me realize that nothing impossibble in life.If he take responsible lead the country in young age,why can not me be a good leader just for myself???He love knowledge.He build the place that name 'Baitul Hikmah',that function as translation,save and write about knowledge.He able to do anything for it.He taught me how to appreciate all the knowledge because its expensive to get it.Although he a leader,he not selfish.He realize me that all human in the world same.From him ,I just not only learn how o be a leader but more than that..He is my my great leader idol!!!!!!!!!!!
